About the event
In this stained glass workshop you will learn how to build a suncatcher with step-by-step instructions from glass artist Christopher Michalek. You will build a 7/5” catcher of your choice, choosing a pattern from the "pick a pattern gallery". Once you have picked one of our many favorites and we "supersize" the pattern for you, you will learn how to cut the glass, grind the glass, foil and solder the piece! Next, you will learn to connect the jump rings to finish the hanging system and decide if you'd like to patina your piece to give it a vintage feel. To finish up the production you will wash and polish your suncatcher! *All pieces are sold as is.
